The Two Counties Youth Cricket Competition was founded in 1965 when Sir Donald Limon, Alan Staves, Doug Tanner and Bryan Karn saw a need for organised youth cricket in an area encompassing north Hampshire and west Surrey.
Today, we run age group competitions for male and female players from Under 8 to Under 19.
One of the aspects of The Two Counties that makes it unique is the mixture of city, town & village teams all competing against each other – for many that is also its greatest challenge. If you translate these teams into players then there are around a thousand players taking part. The Two Counties aim is to provide these players with as many enjoyable match-playing opportunities as possible.
